Hello guys, Today, we’re gonna share a sous-vide salmon recipe with you.

Do you know sous-vide cooking?

This is a method of cooking in food which is placed in a plastic bag then placed in a water bath for longer than normal cooking times at an accurately regulated temperature. The temperature is much lower than normally used for cooking to keep the moisture.

We have bought a sous-vide machine for few years ago. We learnt this cooking technique when we’re studying in culinary school. We always use this method for cooking salmon, baby back ribs or chicken breast. It is suitable for cooking any ingredients.

Basically, there are many different temperature for cooking sous-vide salmon. Salmon is quite easy to be overcook when we pan-fry it or bake it with oven. We think that sous-vide is a advantage when we cooking fish or any type of meat.

Sous-vide salmon recipe (yield: 1 serving)

Ingredients:

Salmon fillet(skin on) 125g

Garlic 1 clove

Seasonings:

Sea salt 1/2 tsp

Black pepper 1/2 tsp

Lemon juice 1 tsp

Olive oil 1 tbsp

Fresh Dill a pinch of

Instructions

Firstly, we preheat the water with 50 °C/ 122 °F.

Then, we prepare a plastic ziploc bag. After that, we put in the salmon and all the seasonings and rub it evenly.

Furthermore, We sous-vide salmon with 50 °C/ 122 °F for 45 minutes. The cooking time is depends on the size and how thick with your fish. We love tender texture so we cook it for shorter time.
