Chewy chocolate chip cookies recipe (yield: 16 cookies)
Ingredients:
Butter 200g
Bread flour 180g
Cake flour 80g
Baking powder 5g
Salt 5g
Brown sugar 200g
White sugar 100g
Large egg 1pc
Large egg yolk 1pc
Pure vanilla extract 5g
Chocolate chips 120g
Chocolate chunks 60g (optional)
Instructions
Firstly, we browned the butter with medium heat. We think this step can enhanced the nutty flavor of butter. Once we did it, set aside and let it cool down.
Then, we gather all of the ingredients. We sifted together with the flour, salt, and baking soda. Set aside.
Moreover, we mix the sugar, vanilla and brown butter and eggs together, then we beat it with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
Afterwards, we add the dry ingredients. We mix until incorporated.
Next, we add the chocolate chip and chocolate chunks, mix well.
Furthermore, we put the mixture into fridge for about 2 hours. Then we scoop the cookies with our ideal size. After all, we preheat the oven to 180˚C/ 350˚F. We bake it for 15 minutes.
